Getting a new or additional car at a dealership?
YES you CAN get a STR plate
through them. Tell them to NOT give you a
metal plate but a paper/temporary tag
and to get you a STR plate at the office
where they send your title work.
Can I get a STR plate for a motorcycle? Motorcycle plates require different
legislation and that was not included in the original legislative bill for Florida's
STR specialty license plate.
